U.S. submarine torpedoes Iranian tanker, killing 100+ sailors. Trump or Netanyahu? As allies flee and oil hits $4/gal, America’s depravity hits a new low.

Is Donald Trump preparing to take the Iran war to a new level? There can be no doubt whatsoever now that the talks in Islamabad were merely a distraction for the Iranians, which they know now, and that peace has never been the objective for Trump. In my view, it is quite wrong to assume that Trump desperately wants out of the war, as reported by mainstream outlets in America on both sides of the aisle. It is becoming clearer that he is fixated with the thrill of playing war games and genuinely believes that in the vortex of failed missions, there is a way to militarily hit the regime.
It is important to remember that Trump is driven by greed and market manipulation. What we have seen in recent weeks is the constant swinging from crisis point to momentary de-escalation which, we are to assume, has made Trump and his cronies very rich buying and selling oil. And oil is really the heart of the matter. Iran’s oil would be a huge payoff if the regime were to fall.
But each day that passes is like watching a car accident happen before your eyes in slow motion. It’s as though Trump really is losing his mind and is becoming increasingly detached from reality, as the ’escalate to de-escalate’ game always costs Trump and the Americans and .
We are told that 415 soldiers have lost their lives since the war began. That’s no small sum of human life, assuming of course that it’s true, as some believe that the number is higher.
Striking the Iranian tanker and killing over 100 sailors on board with a second, gratuitous torpedo from a U.S. submarine, the level of depravity of Trump and Israel is hitting home. This is desperation beyond the imagination of most and certainly beyond what any previous sitting U.S. president could stoop to.
But it’s not only an attack on Iran and its regime, but also one directed towards China. What we are witnessing is the ugly collision of Iran and China emerging as new superpowers colliding with the U.S., which is sinking. Like two elevators passing one another, Trump is happy to make the U.S. a laughing stock of the world as its declining hegemony is marked by $4 a gallon gas back home, stagflation of the economy, and nearly all of America’s allies abandoning it when it needs them the most.
What knucklehead told Trump it would be a smart move to hit Iranian tankers heading for China? Doesn’t he realise this is an act of war and that Beijing will not take this lightly? At best, he can hope that China steps carefully and moves to arm its ships with anti-helicopter missiles so that the episode cannot be repeated. At worst, China will increase its military support for Iran, who will bide their time while their leaders come to the only conclusion which makes any sense to stop Trump’s blockade: sink one of the American battleships.
The number of doctors now appearing on U.S. mainstream media talking about the ’madness of Trump’ has reached a peak. Even the White House itself is rumoured to be worried about the mental health of the president. And so something quite drastic from Iran will certainly be considered, as, until now, Iran has been remarkably restrained in the war. There is no possibility whatsoever that the strike against the tanker can be ignored by Tehran’s elite, especially when the second torpedo was so cowardly sent when the ship was already put out of service. This second strike was designed to kill as many sailors as possible to goad the Iranian regime to a new level.
But who is making these decisions? Is it even Trump himself? Unlikely. This has all the markings of Netanyahu, who is calling the shots. Bibi has no concern whatsoever for the world’s economy. He cares little about chaos ensuing as shortages kick in surely in the coming weeks and companies all around the world go ahead with massive layoffs. He cares little about really anybody but his own sick, wet dream of creating a world war with Iran using American soldiers as cannon fodder, which is the next stage of escalation now. Iran must retaliate. It must send a clear message back that the strike went over a line and that the feral lunatics behind this decision to kill unarmed sailors in such a manner have not only desecrated international law and the Geneva Convention but have reached a level of sick, unprecedented depravity which needs to be tackled head on.
The strike is part of a pattern emerging whereby Trump presses one button and Netanyahu presses another, taking the first action to a higher level. Probably Trump did not make the decision to strike the tanker, but this was Bibi’s, who knows only too well that Iran must retaliate. This is the flip side of the ’escalate to de-escalate’ argument. When someone like Bibi is determined at all costs to drag the U.S. into a full-blown war with Iran, such strikes can be expected. They are designed to create a reaction. And when that reaction happens, a phalanx of call-centre journalists will be relied upon to report it as though it was a completely unprovoked attack, out of the blue with no warning and completely incoherent from “fucking savages” (Apocalypse Now) — just as so many journalists and politicians refused to even acknowledge Israel’s initial strike on schoolchildren, who, it transpires, were the offspring of serving officers in the Iranian military.
This is the red-in-tooth-and-claw logic behind the attack on the tanker and its sailors. It is a provocation on a grand scale which Trump and Bibi have only prepared for on a media level in terms of how it will be framed. Trump certainly is not prepared on a political level, and regardless of how much Jewish money is going to fund Republican candidates in November, there is going to be a massive reaction against him from both sides when people in their hundreds of thousands stand up against him and the war when Iran retaliates.
Of course, Tehran might opt for a strike against Saudi Arabia and its oil infrastructure. But whatever they choose, Trump is edging closer to what Bibi wants, which is a final solution for Iran. Recently it was reported that Trump already wanted to use a nuclear strike against Iran, but was blocked by a U.S. Air Force General Dan Caine, who refused President Donald Trump’s alleged attempt to access nuclear codes during an emergency White House meeting. This incident, according to CIA podcaster Larry Johnson, is worrying and yet revealing on a number of levels. It shows that Trump is not in charge of really big military decisions, as other reports confirmed that he has been excluded from the ’situation room’ on a number of occasions as military figures like Caine worry that his capricious, unpredictable, childish reactions to a military situation can only make matters much worse. Perhaps this is a wise thing, many will argue. But it also raises an important point. Who is making these gargantuan decisions, therefore, if it’s not the commander in chief?
