When Ukraine’s puppet president shows up anywhere, one should immediately suspect a scam in the making. Corruption follows this con artist and his crony regime like a bad smell.

His schtick of turning up at summits begging for Western taxpayer billions has grown tiresome and, frankly, a bit implausible given the embezzlement scandals that the Kiev regime is mired in.

But, fear not, the grifter machine that passes for an unelected presidency in Ukraine has found an exciting new diversification for export markets. The trouble is that this capitalist business model has quite a few holes in it, if one cares to look.

Five weeks of war in the Middle East have created a profitable business opportunity.

Vladimir Zelensky just finished a whirlwind tour of Gulf Arab regimes, meeting the “royal rulers” of the oil-and-gas sheikdoms and signing lucrative contracts for Ukrainian air defense systems.

Zelensky was hosted by the dictators of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates with smiles and photos. The result was the signing of 10-year contracts in which Ukraine is to sell its drones and other air defense technology to the Arab kingdoms.

Western media reported that the trip was “a surprise”. But it’s safe to say that the Kiev regime and the Gulf monarchs have been working on the itinerary for the past weeks. You just don’t show up in these countries and get a chance sequence of meetings with their rulers. Also, it has been reported that Ukrainian defense experts have been working on the ground in these Arab states since earlier this month.

Zelensky couldn’t contain his exhilaration over the new deals.

“I won’t say the exact figure, but we’re talking billions, not millions, specifically billions for our exporters – everyone will earn, Ukraine will earn, we won’t lose out, because we’ll ensure that our soldiers have enough left,” he said.

Note how Zelensky checked his enthusiasm by adding the bit about “our soldiers” not being neglected. He had to say that, didn’t he?

How’s that for chutzpah? Since the NATO proxy war against Russia blew up in February 2022, the Ukrainian regime has been whinging nonstop about not having enough air defenses to combat “Russian aggression”. NATO governments have funnelled as much as $400 billion of American and European taxpayer money into Ukraine, and still Zelensky and his cronies continue to beg for , claiming they are defending Western civilization from Russian barbarians.

The European Union and its Russophobic leaders have drummed up another $100 billion to prop up the endemically corrupt regime for another two years. This is while Zelensky and his cronies have bought up luxury properties in the Middle East, the United States, and across Europe.

So, then we must ask: if Ukraine is fighting for its survival against Russian hordes, how is it that Zelensky is finding time to tour the Persian Gulf selling air-defense systems?

To take the bad look off the business mission, Zelenksy tried to spin a humanitarian motive. “We are ready to share our expertise and systems with Saudi Arabia and to work together to strengthen the protection of lives,” he said.

The Ukrainian puppet president added: “Saudi Arabia also has capabilities that are of interest to Ukraine, and this cooperation can be mutually beneficial.”

Let’s see, now, what “capabilities” could he be referring to? Oh, yes, billions of dollars to be able to buy Ukrainian weapons.

Iran’s retaliation for the U.S. and Israeli aggression that began on February 28 has exposed the Gulf Arab regimes as defenseless and the American-made Patriot system as useless. The Ukrainian regime has spotted an opportunity to exploit for its anti-missile drones and electronic warfare systems.

But hold on a minute, shouldn’t the Ukrainian weapons be used to defend Ukraine and the rest of Europe from alleged “Russian aggression”?

Well, evidently not, if there are profits to be made by the Kiev regime. After all, the regime has been prepared to expend millions of Ukrainian military casualties to garner billions of NATO funds for a futile proxy war.

The war in Ukraine has never been about defending Ukrainian democracy or sovereignty. The Kiev NeoNazi regime that the CIA installed in the 2014 coup d’etat has always been about selling the country as a geopolitical prostitute and running a war racket for Western capital with payoffs to the local cronies.

Zelensky is “leveraging” Ukraine’s image as having air defense expertise. The billions that the Arab sheikdoms funnel into Ukraine for drones and other weapons will end up in the offshore accounts of the regime and its Western backers.

How did Ukraine develop its supposed drone warfare expertise? Billions of Western taxpayers’ money went into Ukrainian military companies, as declared by the European Commission.

One such firm is Kvertus, according to the BBC, which has been bankrolled by German government agencies using bilateral and EU funds. Germany’s international development agency, GIZ, has spent billions of euros in Ukraine helping firms like Kvertus to develop drones, missiles, and electronic warfare. Now these Ukrainian companies built up by European public subsidies are positioning themselves to tap the lucrative markets of the Arab monarchies.

War is a god-forsaken racket, alright. The Americans and their NATO partners instigated a war in Ukraine against Russia that has drained the Western public, as well as killing millions. Now the Americans have moved on to another war, on Iran, generating profits for the merchants of death, while civilians suffer and children are murdered, and the Western public is impoverished and bled dry, over and over again.

The infernal racket has a name. Capitalism. Death, destruction, profit. Repeat. Death, destruction, profit.
